In Bible, we have been learning about Moses, Samson, & Jonah. I always love giving the students multiple ways to support understanding when it comes to learning. The students love acting the story out, listening to the story read aloud, doing activity sheets, and watching Bible videos. All of these ways help each child learn by using differentiation strategies.
For example, most students are active learners, and learn better by moving their bodies and getting involved with the story. Some students are visual learners and love looking at the storybook pictures or watching videos. Some students are audio learners and love listening to the all details in the story read aloud. And some students are tactile learners, similar to active learners, and learn more by doing activities about the story.
Do you know what kind of learning style your child succeeds best in?
Knowing your child's learning style can help you understand how to support your young and growing child!
